Frequently asked questions
How does a shoot get booked?
We start with a short brief or a call, agree on scope and date, and confirm in writing. From there you get a clear plan before the shoot day.
What does a session include?
Each project is scoped to what it needs: creative direction, lighting, the shoot itself, and a set of edited, retouched final images. The exact deliverables are agreed up front.
How long until I get the images?
Turnaround depends on volume, and it is agreed before the shoot. Selects can usually be shared quickly, with final retouched files following.
Do you shoot at my location or in studio?
Both. Doug works from his Long Island City studio and shoots on location across NYC when the project calls for it.
Who owns the final images?
Usage is set out in the agreement for each project, so you know exactly where and how the images can be used before you commit.
How do I get a quote?
Send a few details through the form or call directly. You will get a clear, project-specific quote, not a generic price list.
